Re: I reached my Goal Weight

LOL Me too.

I went to the Salvation Army in Eaglby yesterday and all clothes were $2.00.

I bought 3 pairs of jeans for $6.00.  They are brand new.  Rockies brand and a size 15/16 and extra long.  I am quite tall and sometimes jeans just fall an inch short so look funny, these ones I will actually have to hem as they are a bit long.

They are comfortable.  I wore them out of the shop!!!

83.8kg this morning and according to the diary on this site week 52.  So a year.  I am down 36.2kg for the year.

I went down 400 grams this week even with the Yatala pie for tea, breakfast and lunch and that big piece of apple and berry pie laced with sugar. Also at Mum's yesterday some chockie backed biccies.  But I did do exercise yesterday.

My pilates, cleared the site for hubby to put up a shed.  Lay down newspapers and then mulched her front garden with hay  Went for a walk with Mum.  Did the pilates work out with Mum, went shopping with Mum and went for a little walk by myself as well as I did help hubby unload a cement mixer off the ute and carry some stuff from the ute to the back of the shed.

LOL without all that I probably wouldn't have gone down this week.

Re: I reached my Goal Weight

I'm ruined!!!

I ate before tea the other night and then ate tea.  It was too much for my stomach and came back up.  BLAH!!  What a waste of good food!!!

I have made another 2 changes.

The first is I did Pilates with hubby in the morning and then went to my friend's near work and did it with her before lunch. Bringing my mat back in after work I did the 10 minutes again.

Easy in the morning. Easy at lunch time. Not so easy after work. I felt my tummy, my legs were tired and I couldn't touch my elbow to my opposite knees while lying on my back which I could do the first 2 times.

The other change I made this morning is that I am going to have my dessert at breakfast time instead of at tea time.

So I had my porridge with a bit of honey, cinnamon, nuts and seeds and then followed with fruit salad and yoghurt. Hubby has not made that change and will continue to have dessert after tea.

Re: I reached my Goal Weight

My last weigh in I was 78.9 kilos.  That is now down 41.1 kgs.

Yesterday I was talking to some friends in the Street.  A lady came up to us and asked if I minded if she asked,

Was I Suzie?

I said yes, although that is really an online name, not a real life name.

She then asked if I lived in my Suburb.

I said Yes.

Again she apologised and asked if I minded but had a lost a lot of weight.

I answered yes.  120 kgs in the last 2 weeks of August last year.

I have no idea who she was!  But I guess someone must be talking.

I guess that equals success!!!!

Re: I reached my Goal Weight

Thank you so much everyone.

When I was big I would not wear any shirts that were stretched between my breasts.

I bought some shirts from Salvos and with not having washed my clothes with running out of time I was wearing one of the Salvos shirts every day.

So the last day I put on a size 12!!!!!! shirt and it is stretched between the breasts.  I undo it and it is like that when undone.  They have made it to look like that.  Gathered it a bit right between the breasts.

I tried to put a safety pin in but nope had to go with the way the shirt was designed.  I am in an office with my back to everyone anyway.

9.30pm at home and I was called from the computer by hubby with, "We have visitors".

I went out and he was facing me as I came around the fridge.

His immediate reaction was to say "WOW!!!"

It still makes me grin to think about it.

I have been reading some of the other threads saying they have lost 50 kg, so I know I can go lower.  I have gone from red to orange on the diabetes tape, however I would like to get into the green.
