Re: I am patting myself on the back!

Well done Sandy!  I lost 1.1kg this week and I'm so happy after only losing 100g over the past two.  Only another 500g to my next goal.  I will be happy with size 12/14 - as my top is always a size larger - too.  In size 12 jeans now.

That is great, Kazmak. :)
Feels so good doesn't it?
I didn't do too much damage at lunch time and I am having some low fat eggplant parmigiana from the freezer tonight with a grain roll, with still some cals left over if I want a snack after dinner too. :)

Re: I am patting myself on the back!

Well done Sandyanne and Kazmak.

I am loving the size dropping also. Yesterday I started culling the sizes 22-16. I fit mostly 12-14 at the moment and suprisingly my bra size doesn't appear to have changed that much. It appears that it was just that my old ones were so worn out that they were loose. lol

But I am down 1 kilo this week. So the grand total now is 32.5 since February. I am so happy with how it is all working out. I don't know how weigh in will be next week though as I am going away for a ladies long weekend with 7 friends to a house in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, this weekend and I know that alcohol will be involved. Hmmm treat time :)

Re: I am patting myself on the back!

Thanks everyone! I finished my weight loss last Spring and have been up and down like a yoyo - but one with a much shorter string luckily!  I am 10% heavier now than when I reached my goal but not bigger, if anything I am smaller - due to a combination of more muscle replacing fat and also I think it takes a good few months or more for your skin to shrink! I really like being this size - I fit into clothes properly for the first time ever (since I am so short, 8 is the best size for my height)

Re: I am patting myself on the back!

That is great Justine. :)

I probably should be that size for my height as well, but I cant recall ever having clothes that small even as a teenager. I am thinking back that maybe mum made all our new clothes so we didn't know about sizes. Then probably when I went to work and started buying my own I was probably buying mediums or maybe size 12. I probably have some old undies in the back of the drawer maybe I should check. Second thoughts 40 year old undies should go out with all those other clothes I am donating. Who am I kidding, No the undies have to go in the bin. As well as hoarding weight on my body I have been a hoarder of clothing PURGE time!!! :)
