Landed in Sri Lanka on the 21st June early morning around 1.30am. Around 10.00 am my first priority was to join a gym. Drove around and visited three gyms and finally found the gym around 11.30 am. The gym membership for both myself and my husband for a month was $20.(would you believe)21st June BF - hoppers ( made with rice flower) - mangustine Lunch- rice and curry ( bread fruit curry, prawn curry, vegetatable salsa) - two spoons of rice and lots of vegetables. AT - fresh coconut Juice Dinner - Vege soup Exercise - weights at the gym. 1hr. 1 hr walk on the beach. The only issue is, the food is prepared with coconut milk, which puts a bit of a damper on the calories. I have been avoiding the gravy to minimise the damage. I plan to enjoy the food while I can. I don't cook a lot of rice and curry back home in Australia and this is a treat. Will work harder at the gym. Tomorrow friends are inviting me over to celebrate my birthday. ( which is a week away) I will have a glass of Wine and some Sri Lankan possibly fatty food in order to not offend the host. If I can, I will talk to her of my goal and she may let me off the hook. A visit to the gym will be on the cards for tomorrow. |
