Re: Down loading problems

Yes Momof7. It seemed to happen after that. I am okay witht he ebooks thanks Gayle so far but I am concerned that I will have trouble next challenge and if more come out. I have 4 at the moment. Christmas, although the one on line looked like it had a different cover and I was tryiing to open it and that is hoew I discovered my problem.
Easter,
dinner in a dash and Summer> That's it I think isn't it. I may get one of my son's friends to check out my computer if you girls are not having any problems. He works in IT. thanks mates...  :)
Interesting that your computer also tells you the same Momof7. I don't have an iPad...:(

Re: Down loading problems

You're welcome sweetie, I hope you manage to resolve your little hiccup quickly.  It sure is a nuisance when things don't work as they should, huh?  *S*

Re: Down loading problems

These are all PDF's so it's up to the Adobe Reader installation to correctly download and read the file.

So the first step would be to reinstall adobe reader (which will also make sure you get the latest one):
http://get.adobe.com/reader/

If that doesn't work i would suggest you disable the browser plug-in for PDF's so that PDF links will simply download as normal files as the browser plug-in sometimes has alot of issues.

Another way around the download issue is to right click the link and select 'save as' or 'save link as' as this will also by-pass the browser plug in and allow you to download the file normally.

If the download is cutting out or having issues i would suggest a full clear of your browser cache:
http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache

and then try again.

GOOD LUCK :)

Re: Down loading problems

Janelle, do the same as Mr Web Guy has suggested above.  Once you've opened your menu, go up to file (top left), down to save as, drop it into the folder you want to store it in and then open and print from there.
