Re: Autumn - Week 2 Result

Very excited with all these big losses. I need to have a couple of decent weeks to get to my goal, but I'm struggling in the evenings. I'm good all day, and then snack after dinner - I'm not that hungry, I don't know why I do it. But as of today, I'm determined to stop. I keep telling myself "nothing tastes as good as being thin feels" and "you can't out exercise a bad diet". I've got to get my head back in the right space, and then I'll post a loss that I'm proud of next week also.

Re: Autumn - Week 2 Result

Kristie13 , you've almost hit the nail on the head, what do you crave is it sweet /savoury? my tiny sugestion is to go for the opposite flavour & even then I'm not sure it's going to work. Maybe a good idea would be, to have your vegie snack in the fridge & ready to go, I do know that works a treat, their harmless foods & in the winter a nice hot vegie soup's the answere. Hope this is of help. Keep loosing !!

Re: Autumn - Week 2 Result

I've had many of those days... dont know the answer, different things seem to work at different times. Someone once suggested crunching on ice? Havent tried it yet. I sometimes go for popcorn or a low calorie custard. Getting up and cooking for the next day also works sometime

Good work Antoinette. I am only 1kg down after week 4 of my 12 week challenge (lost 2 gained 1....) but feeling thinner so hope the scales will catch up soon and show 2kg down again.... going for 6!

Re: Autumn - Week 2 Result

Thanks Justine. I am not happy about putting on weight especially since I had it all planned out to reach a certain weight by July. Now I have gone a bit backward. I look and feel good so I am going to give it all I've got to lose the 3.9 kg's and then I will have only 2 to go.
I did a fitness assessment today at the gym and my weight is on the brink of healthy and overweight. The weight loss I am aiming for will hopefully put me in the mid to upper healthy weight range.
Justine keep positive the scales will catch up. When you don't have much to lose it can be grueling even to lose 1/2 kilo. I don't think I can ever go easy on my diet or exercise. I am proned to weight gain and I will always have to watch what I eat. But as time goes the habits I form are part of me that I don't feel like I am restricting myself. WIU ingredients are always in my pantry and although I don't follow the plan to a tee I still eat the WIU way.
